The agreement with Manitowoc calls for the purchase of water at a wholesale price of $.51 per 1,000 gallons in the first year of the agreement, and $.81 per 1,000 gallons in the following year. Future rate increases will be reviewed by the Public Service Commission. In 2007, CBCWA charges to member communities are $3.31 per 1,000 gallons. Water costs to residents will be different for each community based on the rate from the CBCWA and individual community system costs. |
