CBCWA WATER MAIN ROUTE FROM MANITOWOC TO LEDGEVIEW

CONTRACT G-TOWN OF GLENMORE

Starting in Ledgeview at the CBCWA loop distribution system at Elm View Road and Pine Grove Road.

  1. Pine Grove Road (from Elm View Road to CTH NN)-generally in the south right-of-way. However, under I-43 the line will be in the south lane of Pine Grove Road. Note that the north side of the road is in the town of Ledgeview.

CONTRACT G-TOWN OF NEW DENMARK

  1. Pine Grove Road (from CTH NN to CTH R)-generally in the south right-of-way. Note that the north side of the road is in the town of Eaton.
  2. CTH R (from Pine Grove Road to Cooperstown Road or the County Line)-generally in the west road right-of-way. Note that the line passes through the village of Denmark in this section.

CONTRACT G-TOWN OF COOPERSTOWN

  1. CTH R (from Cooperstown Road or the County Line to STH 147)-generally in the west road right-of-way or under the southbound or southwest pavement lane through unincorporated Cooperstown. Note that the line passes through unincorporated Cooperstown in this section.

CONTRACT H-TOWN OF COOPERSTOWN

  1. CTH R (from STH 147 to just north of Old Y Road)-generally in the west road right-of-way.

CONTRACT H-TOWN OF GIBSON

  1. CTH R (from north of Old Y Road to CTH Y)-generally in the west road right-of-way.

CONTRACT H-TOWN OF KOSSUTH

  1. CTH R (from CTH Y to Shoto Road just north of Rockwood)-generally in the west road right-of-way and under the southbound or southwest pavement lane. Note that this section goes through the village of Francis Creek starting just after crossing the tributary on the north side of Francis Creek and extending south of CTH V.

CONTRACT I-TOWN OF KOSSUTH

  1. Shoto Road (from CTH R to CTH Q-in the north right-of-way
  2. CTH Q (from Shoto Road to STH 310)-in the west right-of-way. Some jogs are anticipated into the southbound traffic lane.

CONTRACT I-TOWN OF MANITOWOC

  1. CTH Q (from STH 310 to Goodwin Road)-in the west right-of-way. Some jogs are anticipated into the southbound traffic lane.
  2. Goodwin Road (from CTH Q to Johnston Road)-in the south right-of-way
  3. Johnston Drive (from Goodwin Road to about 1000 feet north of Charles Lane in east right-of-way.

CONTRACT I-CITY OF MANITOWOC

  1. Johnston Drive (from Charles Lane to Magnolia Avenue)-in the west or southbound traffic lane.
  2. Johnston Drive (from Magnolia Avenue to Reed Avenue) in the east right-of-way (note it could continue in the west traffic lane also).
  3. Johnston Drive (from Reed Avenue to Memorial Drive (STH 42)-under the west or southbound traffic lane.
  4. Memorial Drive (from Johnston Drive to Waldo Blvd.)-in the east right-of-way or just east of the right-of-way parallel to the Lake.
  5. Maritime Drive (from Waldo Boulevard to YMCA just south of the marina)-in the east right-of-way or just east of the right-of-way parallel to the Lake. One jog may require being in the street in front of the yacht club, but hopefully even this will be in the right-of-way.
  6. YMCA to Manitowoc River-the main follows the lakefront to the Manitowoc River behind the buildings on Maritime Drive (YMCA in an easement to be acquired and Inn on Maritime Bay in an easement from the city of Manitowoc).
  7. Manitowoc River to STH 10 at entrance of Ferry-on the west side of the slip area to be filled parallel to the C. Reiss coal operation to the end of the filled slip. Then the line goes slightly southeast to the east side of STH 10 or South Lakeview Drive.
  8. STH 10 or South Lakeview Drive-in east right-of-way to Madison Street.
  9. Madison Street or STH 10 (from South Lakeview to MPU plant)-south right-of-way.
  10. MPU Water Plant-across the parking lot between the MPU water treatment plant and administration building to the pump station and reservoir

CONTRACT C--PARTIAL-CITY OF MANITOWOC-other part of C is in the city of DePere

  1. Crossing the Manitowoc River-in a tunnel installed about 60 feet deep. Alignment is slightly southeast from behind the Inn on Maritime Bay to end up in what is currently a slip on the south side of the river. The slip will be filled before the crossing is done.
