A crew member works to position a spool of fiber optic wire into place for installation. The spools are custom wound for the project and hold between 14,500 to 38,000 feet of fiber optic wire and are "blown" into the conduit using an Air Blown machine. This project will require approximately 351,000 feet or 66 miles of fiber optic cable.
