Here you can see the compressor hose attached to the top, right side of the Air Blow machine. A rag is dampened with rubbing alcohol and then wrapped around the fiber optic as it is being drawn into the machine. The alcohol helps remove the dust and dirt from the cable's protective coating that can clog the machine.
